The report of the legal services provided by Steve Branchflower, which was duly commissioned by the Alaska Legislative Council (as detailed in the opening of the report), was created , "to investigate the circumstances and events surrounding ther termination of for Public Safety Commissioner Walt Monegan and potential abuses of power and/or improper actions by members of the executive branch." I was intrigued and read the report in its entirety.
As one reads deeper into the report, it becomes clear a man was discharged from his post because he would not carry out an illegal action to terminate Alaska State Trooper Michael Wooten, and it was more of a witch hunt for Trooper Wooten, who was the ex-husband of Governeor Palin's sister, Molly.
IMHO Trooper Wooten could be the biggest schmuck on the planet, but the ensuing pursuit of his job as an Alsaka State Trooper by the governor, her executive administration, and most invasively, her husband "the first gentleman" Todd Palin, was at its most obvious a petulent response to a case of family-related sour grapes.
All the principals mentioned previously went way beyond the scope of what should have been done, and reflect poorly on the office the Hon. Sarah Palin holds. If she and her band of supporters and employees were smart, they would have kept the case closed, as the disciplinary action against Trooper Wooten had been carried out by the previous administration. It was an overt abuse of power, and the position of Governor.
The manner in which which Trooper Wooten's position was pursued by the Governor, her staff, and her husband was not only irresponsible, it was illegal under Alaska Statute 39.25.080, "Personnel Records Confidential; Exceptions," section (a) which reads: Quote: |
"State personnel records, including employment applications and examination and other assessment materials, are confidential and not open to public inspection except as provided in this section."
|
None of the listed exceptions applied to topics covered in the report, which rendered them a breach of the statute. The penalty for violation of the statute is specific, and covered under Alaska Statute 39.25.900, "Penalties," which reads, Quote:
"(a) A person who willfully violates a provision of this chapter or the personnel rules under this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor.
(b) A state employee who is convicted of a misdemeanor under this chapter or the personnel rules adopted under this chapter immediately forfeits the employee’s office or position.
|
Should the Alaska State Legislature wish to prefer charges on Governor Palin and her employees, there stands to be a mass exodus of shame by her executive administration.
Republican, Democrat, Libertarian, Green, what ever party you pick. Is a person who behaves and acts so childishly the type of person anyone would want to become the President of the Senate, let alone the President of the United States? I prefer a mature adult who keeps perspective on the big picture, and not on personal trivialities. I deeply regret Senator McCain's choice for Vice President.
As always, I can't wait to hear everyone's thoughts regarding this topic.
Note: All quotes are taken from VOLUME ONE, Steven Branchflower Report to the Legislative Council; October 10, 2008; PUBLIC REPORT.
Respectfully submitted...

First because their rank and file had nothing else to talk about politically. You ask them why we should vote Republican and what could they say? Because I think its still best...and then they are laughed right out of the room. This way they can say well I like Sarah Palin "she brings new life to politics". They can focus on the pretty girl instead of the elephant in the room (not that I find pigs pretty).
The second reason is that the girl thing can be used to criticize the critics. Youre just saying that because shes a girl and you beat up girls. I have seen it done a million times as a shill tactic. You see she steps over the line and then he does the same. Now she backs off with her dignity and doesnt say much more about it but her minions can cry unfair all day long and the issue is lost in the bull****.
Now when they use the corrupted voting machines against us they can say see there is more racism out there than we thought. You see the racist threw the polls and the election. However that might cause a class war. So the talking heads will say "no it wasnt racism it was anti-sexism that won the election for McCain." And the people are supposed to believe that?
Its similar to other tactics they use.
"Exit polls were off in OHIO 2004 because Bush voters came out at night". That doesnt even make logical sense.
"9/11 wasnt investigated right because Rumsfeld shot down Flight 93." That will be unofficial history soon but it is not true.
"The surge worked." Everyone saw it as a political ploy from day one.
As far as Palin and her husband go what can you say but plastic is what is wrong with this country already. Everyone in charge is plastic, fake, greedy and corrupt. So thats what we need is two more. You know if they steal this election they will run Palin and then Todd Palin too. 16 years of little plastic fascists.

I saw McCain come running into the race out of nowhere. I thought OK here is a man who wants to do the right thing. He knows these are scary times and he is ready to maverick-up. Then I realized that he was fake. He doesnt care about the right thing. He just wants to be president. Why? Because his ugly new old lady wants to be first lady.
As far as the Palins go only the biggest wankers on Earth would use their political power to push people around. I hope Trooper Wooden cracks Todd Palins head wide open someday.

Well at $10,000 dollars a plate thats only one good night.
I want to tell you about how I messed with McCain. It was at a museum nearby. I made a good protest sign. It was a WW2 poster. A black man and a white man working on a aircraft engine with a slogan, United WE Win. It was off a printer. I stenciled on the other side "Please don't steal this election Mr McCain". It was a quality sign with a strong stick, a piece of flat wooden trim and tied through drill holes with telephone wire. It was covered with clear plastic tape and had a cardboard center.
I wore a big straw hat and dark glasses (it is illegal to protest in a ski-mask ((and fatigues)) in NY state). I arrived and went to the back of the museum which just happens to be an acropolis. I sat and let the public read my sign. Some laughed and a few scowled and gave me thumbs up. I just laughed and thumbed them up back. People told me the protest was in the front on the colleges front lawn. I was using the acropolis as a backdrop so I told them I was in charge of parking.
Eventually the police came. I walked away. The police thought I was pro-McCain supporter as did the protesters across the street. I got some booos from Code Pink the first trip around. I kept the poster side to the police and all they could read was "Mr McCain" on the other side. I went around and stopped at my acropolis again. The police came again and I walked away again. I made about five trips around and the last time three cars rolled up and I walked away real fast.
One turned around fast. I figured that they figured they needed minimal bad press on the campaign trail. They sent the black guy to tell me to get. They also made the Alt Press leave at the same time. I said "sir can I walk in the park?" "I said go across the street to the college" "sir can I walk in the park?" "I said go across the street to the college" "sir can I walk across the street in the park?" "I said go across the street to the college NOW"
Alt press wanted to interview me. I said "lets do it here". We had not crossed the street yet. He said "Are you sure?" and we started. The cop rolled up on us and screamed "get across the street now". We did the interview across the street. I was out of breath. I think I told him my name was the Ghost of the New York Central and I was with the Resistance. And that all hell was going to break loose if they steal this election. Pretty much what I tell everyone.
Well by the time I was done the people from the college lawn had pushed across the street. Every police agency on Earth started arriving. They made a line with their cars across the front parking lot. I started to cross and I talked to a reasonable cop who asked me politely to cross back over and I realized nothing good would come of us storming across the lines at this point in time so I pulled back across the street.
The motorcade arrived and when McCain got out I screamed "Go Home Yankee". Everytime a nice car rolled up on their way to buy their plate I screamed "Go Home". I got cars beeping. I met a kid who claimed that he in fact was with the Resistance. I said "No ****". I lost my voice. The protesters made it close enough to see McCain as he left. No one got hurt or arrested.
There were some shills there and they stayed on my side of the street until I heard one say to a young man that he would "push his chin in". When I moved closer they decided they would be safer across the street. I was assigned my own Campus Cop. I talked to "The Beast". One man flipped me off and I did the universal BJ dance and even the cops laughed. I dont really think many of the cops gave a **** for McCAin either. In the end I was the only person on the side of the college and everyone was on the side of the museum. I was staring across at the cop who made me cross. All the cops were gabbing by agency and he was all alone.
At one point I thought that about five state troopers were going to get into it with a lady protester and I almost lost it. The one cop pointed me out to another. I didnt do anything but I think I nearly lost control. I saw red and that scared me. I can not accidently fight cops. I am smarter than that.
And that was about it. I did an old Rainbow Family thing and screamed "I love you people" to the crowd and people looked at me like I was crazy except one Rainbow in the crowd who took my picture. And I went home. Later I was a soundbite for an ALT press video. "I am here to ask Mr McCain if he is going to steal this election."
So thats it. That is what I am doing to fight fascism. I am not an armchair quarter-back. I am using tools of Resistance against my enemy. Some duct tape, cardboard, a computer printer, clear plastic tape, a straw hat and a pair of dark sunglasses. What else do you need to threaten a neo-fascist? That will be illegal soon enough too.
I will leave the homemade mortars to the provos. I am a paper tiger.

He did not steal the election. I was wrong. McCain is not a fascist. I am not saying American fascists do not exist but McCain is not one of them. I wish Senator McCain a long and prosperous life and all the happiness in the world. He is a winner in all of this. Figures that the GOP would let him run the one year that he had no chance of winning.
